LATEST BOARD OF REALTOR® STATS REFLECT
CONTINUED AREA HOME SALES SLOWDOWN...

Statistics recently released by the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board
of Realtors
® (MIBOR) for the previous 6-months verses the same
period 1-year ago, show double-digit drops in home sales. How-
ever, average sale prices continue to remain fairly stable (show-
ing only a 4 percent drop), which is definitely good news for
area sellers.

COMMIT TO BEING GREEN (Continued)

GREEN TIP #1 - Install a Low-Flow Shower Head

Your shower, on average, uses as much as 22 percent of the total
water consumed in your home. Further, a good portion of that water
takes a detour through your water heater, increasing your energy
usage and bills.

For an investment of around $10 you can save
$50 to $75 per year on water bills and $20 to
$50 or more per year on energy bills

Low-flow shower heads are available at most
hardware and home improvement centers.
While you're there, pick up a roll of plumber's
Teflon tape and a adjustable wrench or vise-
grips if you don't already have them in your
toolbox. For step-by-step, printable instruc-
tions on removing the old shower head and
installing a new one, click HERE. In 5-minutes or less, you can
substantially reduce your water usage and the amount of energy
needed to heat water - reducing the emission of up to 376
pounds of climate-changing carbon dioxide each year!
